Cabautan submits Diaz in Olympus Rising by TWC Amateur MMA main event

Cyrud "The Ferocious" Cabautan remained unbeaten after scoring a dominant second-round submission victory over Michael "D' Power Fist" Diaz in the main event of the Olympus Rising by Titans World Championship (TWC) Amateur MMA event held Saturday, July 25, at W South Event Place in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

The 20-year-old Cabautan, a native of Macamot, Binangonan, Rizal, showcased his grappling skills and controlled the bout from the opening bell before forcing Diaz to tap out in the second round.

The impressive victory improved Cabautan's amateur record to 2-0, while the 21-year-old Diaz of North Caloocan City slipped to 0-3.

"I'm happy with my performance tonight. I trained hard for this fight, and I'm grateful to my coaches, teammates, and everyone who supported me," Cabautan said.

In the co-main event, Manny Nunieza of Las Piñas City needed just one round to defeat Greg Samuel Agpoon of Norzagaray, Bulacan via ground-and-pound stoppage.

The event was organized by Titans World Championship (TWC) and streamed live worldwide through the Kalaro 3.0 Sports Super-app at www.kalaro.gg.

Earlier this year, TWC formalized its partnership with Kalaro Holdings Pte. Ltd. of Singapore to further develop grassroots mixed martial arts in the Philippines through advanced sports management technology and global live streaming.

The collaboration enables TWC events to be broadcast in more than 195 countries via the Kalaro 3.0 Sports Super-app.

Developed and owned by Filipinos, Kalaro is recognized as the world's first integrated eSports Super-app, with offices in Singapore, Japan, and the Philippines, and plans to expand to Qatar.

Also present during the event were Kalaro Founder and CEO Jun D. Lasco and TWC President and CEO Lance D. Flores.
