The construction of the seven-story athletes’ dormitory and training facility inside the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila commenced through a groundbreaking ceremony conducted on Thursday, making a major upgrade of the former boxing and pencak silat training site.

Senator Pia S. Cayetano led sports officials and national athletes on Thursday at the groundbreaking ceremony of the future seven-story Athletes' Dormitory at the historic Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Malate, Manila.
