PCU Dolphins compete in Australia cagefest

The Philippine Christian University men's basketball team left for Perth, Australia this Wednesday to compete in the FILOBASKET National Finals scheduled for September 21-22 at the Perth National Stadium.

The PCU Dolphins earned the opportunity to represent the country in the international school basketball tournament after winning the 1st John Yap Cup Championships of the National Youth Basketball League (NYBL) Season 7.

"We're ready to bring home the title. PCU went through a lot for this, and the players are enthusiastic and prepared hard for this," said NYBL founder Coach Fernando Arimado during the team send-off.

The PCU Dolphins will be led by coaches Biboy Simon and Mark Edison Ordonez.

Coach Arimado expressed his heartfelt gratitude to PCU President Dr. Junifen F. Gauuan, and Athletic Director Dr. Putli Martha Beata F. Ijiran for guidance and support.
