ALTOS Computing, a subsidiary of Acer, announces the launch of the upgraded Altos BrainSphere™ T15 F6 server, now equipped with the latest AMD EPYC™ 4005 Series processors. This new generation improves single-core computing performance by up to 19% and centers on core values of high performance, energy efficiency, and ease of management. Designed for small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs), government, and education sectors, the solution offers a cost-effective and flexible server platform.
Jackie Lee, General Manager of Altos Computing, stated, "As businesses face increasingly diverse application demands, SMBs require IT infrastructure solutions that balance performance, ease of use, and budget."
“The AMD EPYC 4005 Series captures performance, price, and practicality that small businesses require as they seek to acquire a system that meets their unique demands,” said Derek Dicker, corporate vice president, Enterprise and HPC Business, AMD. “Growing businesses will now have an interesting, right-sized solution, packaged in an affordable, easy-to-use platform that fits their current needs but can scale as their business grows.”
The Altos BrainSphere™ T15 F6 server is powered by AMD EPYC 4005 Series processors, featuring AM5 sockets and built-in 3D V-Cache technology, significantly enhancing L3 cache capacity and overall computational power. Compared to the previous AMD 4004 Series, the AMD 4005 Series improves single-core performance by 19% while optimizing power consumption and processing efficiency, making it ideal for multitasking and high-performance computing requirements in SMBs. The server features DDR5 high-speed memory, PCIe Gen 5 high-bandwidth computer card slots, and M.2 storage interfaces, enabling up to 32TB of hard drive capacity and USB 3.2 high-speed transfers. This provides exceptional system scalability and flexible configuration to meet future data growth and application changes.
The Altos BrainSphere™ T15 F6 utilizes a Realtek network controller that supports the DASH standard, replacing traditional BMC designs. This lets IT administrators remotely monitor device power status, system health, and log data, even when the system is powered off. This greatly simplifies remote maintenance processes, saving time, and reducing management costs.
